American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy took to Instagram on Thursday to make an announcement. The 9th season of AHS, American Horror Story: 1984 has a cast. Not only that but the teaser he put together for the reveal is an absolute 80’s slasher/fashion/music video dream.
The teaser features Cody Fern, Gus Kenworthy, Billie Lourd, Emma Roberts, Matthew Morrison, Angelica Ross, DeRon Horton and Zach Villa. They’re covering a slew of archetypes, styles and um… parts. Sarah Paulson is also said to be returning to the show, though her role will be smaller due to her involvement in Murphy’s Netflix series, Ratched. That’s according to Deadline. Little more than the theme, and now the cast, is known about this new season of AHS.
American Horror Story: 1984 will premiere on FX, September 18th. Until then, we can dream about it.
